A Bucks County man was jailed on felony charges after allegedly striking a woman with his pickup truck in Lenape Park last week and failing to help her as she lay injured on the ground.

According to Perkasie Borough Police, William Schwager Jr., 76, who police said is transient around the borough with no fixed address, was charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, misdemeanor assault, and misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person.

Rescue Of The Week: Bailey, a 3-year-old mastiff

Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Bailey, a 3-year-old mastiff, as the featured rescue of the week. 

Bailey came from ACCT, before she found her way to her current foster home in Schwenksville, through Home At Last Dog Rescue. 

Bailey is a 125-pound Mastiff who absolutely loves meeting new people. She enjoys being playful, lounging around the house, and going on casual walks. She is house-and-crate trained and does well with other dogs after a slow introduction. An ideal home for her would be moderately active. She also does well with children, though it is recommended that they be over six years old due to her size.
