🚨 Man Charged In Montgomeryville Shooting

Ramos (via Montgomery Twp. Police)
A 24-year-old Buckingham man faces charges in a shooting incident last month at a Montgomery Township shopping center.
ICYMI: Multiple shots were fired outside the Boca Del Mar restaurant in the 202 Marketplace on Doylestown Pike around 2 a.m. on Dec. 8. Calls to emergency services said someone was shooting from a truck and appeared to be firing at random people. But cops now say it was a targeted assault by Biliver Fernando Ramos.
Ramos is charged with aggravated assault with extreme indifference and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, along with other related counts. Police said he fired a dozen shots at the feet of a victim and then headbutted the person twice. The victim suffered injuries to the head and received treatment at a local hospital. Cops said they recovered the gun suspected to have been used in the incident when arresting Ramos at his home.
👨🚒 Hatfield Family Displaced By Fire

James Short | North Penn Now
A family of five was displaced after a wood stove fire destroyed part of their Hatfield home.
Officials said the cause of the Clymer Road blaze remains under investigation. No one was home at the time; there were no injuries reported. A GiveSendGo page has been launched to support Joshua and Michele Skrzat and their three children. It has raised close to $35,000 toward a $50,00 goal so far. The American Red Cross is also assisting the family, which is active in the Souderton Area Baseball League.
Also: Hatfield officials recently voted to seek grant funding to help Colmar Fire Company — one of the responding agencies to this blaze — make infrastructure improvements.

🌾 Souderton Feed Mill To Close After 155 Years
Moyer and Son will close its historic feed mill and the associated store in Souderton, ceasing operations after 155 years. Operations will end by the end of April at the latest; the facility has focused on bird feed in recent years.
Owner David Moyer cited "insurmountable" business issues that have nothing to do with employees or the product. The company is expanding its home services division as it shutters the mill; Moyer said he hopes to transition the mill's roughly 20 employees to other roles in the company.

James Short | North Penn Now
Meet Vivi, a five-month-old Terrier being fostered in Blue Bell through Home At Last Dog Rescue. She is an energetic and loving puppy who weighs about 25 pounds and could use some training, but she is crate- and house-trained. A yard would be great, but is not necessary.
If you are interested in adopting Vivi or would like more information, you can reach out to Home At Last Dog Rescue at [email protected] or visit the group's website.
