An alleged homeless and undocumented immigrant of Guatemala has been charged with a home invasion in Lansdale July 27. Jonathan Isaias Avila-Arevalo fled after police said he attacked a woman who was able to punch and kick her attacker. Avila-Arevalo stole an iPad from the home, which police said he was later found with, along with an injury to his eye from the struggle.

Rescue of the week: Anna Mae, a 2-year-old sheepadoodle

Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Anna Mae, a 2-year-old sheepadoodle, as the featured rescue of the week. 

Anna Mae came from a Lancaster puppy mill, before she found her way to her current foster home in North Wales, through Home At Last Dog Rescue. 

Anna Mae is a very shy dog who needs time to warm up to new people. As a result of multiple attacks by other dogs at the puppy mill, she has become very afraid of larger dogs. However, she gets along great with smaller dogs. She is currently house- and crate-trained. A good home for her would include a patient person in a calm household.
