π£οΈ Towamencin Official Gets The Boot Tonight
The Towamencin Township Board of Supervisors will formally accept Republican Laura Smith's resignation this evening.
The special meeting is at 6 p.m. in the municipal complex meeting hall. Smith tendered her resignation after mimicking billionaire Elon Musk's controversial gesture during the inauguration -- construed by many as a Nazi salute -- on her TikTok account. The video went viral, drawing local, national and even international condemnation.

A felony receiving stolen property charge against Thomas Joseph Farnan was dismissed. The 42-year-old Mount Pocono man still faces misdemeanor drug and driving an unregistered vehicle charges. πΆ Rescue of the Week

James Short | North Penn Now
Meet Posie, a nine-year-old Pomsky being fostered through Home At Last Dog Rescue.
Posie was rescued after being a mill mom in Lancaster. She is a mellow and loving girl who weighs 20 pounds and loves to hang out on your lap. Posie is crate- and house-trained and gets along well with other dogs. She is great with kids and new people and would do best in a calm forever home.
If you are interested in adopting Posie or would like more information, you can reach out to Home At Last Dog Rescue at [email protected] or visit the group's website.
